about the class

  • These classes are open to all levels. You would join the same class structure, but the practice would be adjusted to support your own level through props, modifications, and guidance, whether you’re completely new or already experienced.

  • In Iyengar and Chair Yoga, I keep the classes small, with up to 10 students, so you can receive more attention and support. In Regular Yoga, classes can have up to 20 students.

  • We would practice together for about 1.5 hours in each session.

  • I teach Regular Yoga, Iyengar Yoga, and Chair Yoga. My background also includes Hatha and Ashtanga Yoga, but my main focus is on creating a practice that supports alignment, awareness, and comfort in the body, with the thoughtful use of props when helpful.

  • In Iyengar and Chair Yoga, the practice is more therapeutic, with a focus on support, alignment, and your individual needs. Regular Yoga is more of a general practice.

  • For Regular Yoga, you’re welcome to join a single session whenever it suits your schedule. Iyengar Yoga is offered as a term-based course, so the practice can build more gradually and supportively over time.

  • Classes are open to adults, and I do my best to make them as supportive and accessible as possible. If you’re wondering whether a class is right for you, please don’t feel you need to decide that on your own before we speak. You’re always welcome to reach out, and I’ll be happy to help you find the class that feels most comfortable and suitable for you.

your comfort & health

  • Yes, in many cases you can. Iyengar-based yoga can be especially supportive for back or neck pain, as it focuses on alignment, careful guidance, and the thoughtful use of props to help reduce strain and support the body more safely.

  • Yes, in many cases you can still join. With the use of props and careful adjustments, the practice can be adapted to reduce pressure on the knees and support your body more comfortably. Just let me know beforehand so I can guide you accordingly.

  • If you have an injury, just let me know before class. I can adjust the asanas based on your condition, so you can practice in a way that feels safer and more comfortable for your body.

  • If you’re pregnant, it’s best to let me know before joining. Depending on your stage and how you’re feeling, I can guide you on whether the class is suitable and make adjustments so you can practice more comfortably and safely.

schedule

  • At the moment, I offer classes on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays. If those days do not match your schedule very well, feel free to give me a call. I’m always happy to see if we can find a way that works better for you.

  • Classes are offered throughout the day, usually from around 9:00 AM until 7:00 PM, depending on the type of class. You can check the registration page for the timings of each class, and if you are unsure, you are always welcome to reach out and ask me directly.

  • I always encourage coming regularly, because over time you begin to feel not only more connected to the practice, but also more familiar with the people you share the class with. A gentle sense of connection naturally grows in the group, and your presence is part of that.

But of course, sometimes life happens. If you miss a class, you are welcome to make it up by joining another class on a different day within the same month.
